Bethesda’s publishing executive indicated to gamesindutries that the new Elder Scrolls title may ship in 2010. As usual it will be released for pc, xbox 360 and ps3. Quote:
At the moment we’ve got Fallout 3 for this year and potentially there’s a new Elder Scrolls title in 2010. At the moment we’re not that interested in the Wii. We’re going to stick to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. We’ll continue to pursue three or four titles a year and go for big titles.

So we will have Dead Space 2 (PC, PS3, X360), Army of Two 2 (PS3, X360), Bad Company 2 (PS3, X360). So says EA in an interview with Variety. There are also plans for dead space movies, novels, toys and what not. In EA Games’s Frank’s words,
Gibeau: If look at the year “Gears of War” shipped the first time, it was one of the best sellers. “Bad Company” has come out and done very well. “Army of Two” sold very well. We’ve got sequel ideas planned for those. I feel pretty good about that mix right now.
It seems that development of the sequel of Dead Space has already started. This announcement is hardly surprising though.

S2 games’ RPG Savage 2: A Tortured Soul is now available on Steam.
Independent game developer S2 Games brings their cross-genre sequel Savage 2: A Tortured Soul to Steam. Savage enabled players to opt for either the fast-paced, run-and-gun action of a first-person shooter game – playing as a Warrior – or the more cerebral and tactical planning of a real-time strategy game – playing as a Commander – working together as a team to defeat the enemy. Savage 2: A Tortured Soul builds upon the addicting, fast-paced gameplay of the original with additional squad-based features and enhanced role-playing game elements which enable players to build their character level and abilities throughout the game.
To celebrate the launch, S2 Games will be offering a five dollar discount on the download and purchase of a Savage 2 from now until May 12, 2008. Pick it up today for just $24.99.

PC Hardware Limitations Holding-back Supreme Commander 2
According to Supreme Commander creator Chris Taylor, current PC hardware specs are what keeping Gas Powered Games from delivering the sequel to their fantastic RTS. PC-Zone magazine interviewed Chris Taylor, here’s a snip:
“I’ve been told by my engineers that for Supreme Commander 2, I don’t have enough memory in a PC with 4GB of RAM to have more factions”.
“We’ll return to the SC universe again,” Taylor went on to reveal, “but we’ll just have to see when that day is. Maybe when everybody has 64-bit processors…”
