Well, looks like the capitalism bug has bitten Blizzard this time as the company plans to roll out StarCraft II as three different titles. StarCraft II, each containing different races. Bottomline, the game will be in 3 pieces (Trilogy), all priced at $50 to increase the revenues. Excellent! Furthermore, it appears that Battle.net will be getting a facelift with some premium features. Features that you’ll mostly likely pay for.
“[The second and third games] will be like expansion packs, but we really want them to feel like standalone products,” said Blizzard’s Rob Pardo.
Each campaign will be very different, with Pardo announcing the Zerg campaign will contain RPG elements. The Protoss campaigin will likewise be differentiated by elements of diplomacy. In addition, the Terran campaign will feature a Protoss mini-campaign.

Swedish Developer, Lockpick Entertainment’s MMORTS will be hitting interweb on June 18th.
Press Release:
The waiting is coming to an end and after the physical move of the servers earlier this week the team is ready to release their love child together with the community.
“We’re really happy to release The Reawakening now and I know that it is highly anticipated from the Dreamlords community. Drawing on experience from the development of our previous game Dreamlords but also through feedback and suggestions from our much devoted community, I’m convinced we’ve created the game we initially set out to produce last fall”, said David Rosén CEO and Executive Producer. “The Reawakening is in every perspective a game by gamers – for gamers and now I can only hope the players will have as much fun playing it as we’ve had developing it.” Read more
Dreamlords - The Reawakening - Public BETA
Just when the week seemed to cool down and relax a bit, The Reawakening opens up the beta test for everyone and suddenly a stroll in the park seems pretty far away.
After an extensive closed beta testing, endless hours without sleep and fighting bugs, The Reawakening is now ready to move on to the public beta stage. Amazing feedback, constructive criticism and love letters from the truly devoted testers of the closed beta, has been invaluable and helped the team whip the game into shape.

SAGA Available For FREE From FileFront.com

Either SAGA is doing really bad or the developers are really nice people. Eitherway, FileFront.com is giving away 50,000 retail copies of SAGA (worth $19.95) for free.
For the first time in FileFront history, the Ziff Davis site is offering a full copy of a released game: SAGA, the world’s first collectible MMO RTS. Players have until May 11th to secure one of 50,000 Retail Keys available at http://www.filefront.com. SAGA can normally be purchased for $19.95 from the official SAGA website and at many hobby stores across America.
SAGA uses an innovative collectible revenue model first implemented by the THQ studio Genetic Anomalies in 1997 and now seen in over 120 online collectible games, such as the upcoming EA collectible RTS BattleForge.
SAGA has no subscription fees. Players pay as little or as much as they decide, by purchasing ‘booster packs’ of random troops and spells, which are traded and customized to create the strategic army of choice for each player.
SAGA can be played for free; however, the unregistered free version disables many of the features that players find most attractive in a collectible game. Using the Retail Key from http://www.filefront.com unlocks trading, guilds, espionage and PvP combat.
