Flagship may have lost the IP, but their overhyped MMO is still very much alive. Namco Bandai games have made an “official” annoucement by the means of a forum post:
Hello Hellgaters,
I know everyone is looking for an announcement, and we’d love to make one — but right now, many things are in flux and we don’t have all the information yet. As soon as we do, we’ll post here on the forums, on the website, and anywhere else we can find you.
In the short term, please do not worry. The game is up, the servers are not going away in the short term and any major changes to status will be communicated in advance.
I’d like to ask for your patience as we try to figure it all out and chart a new course. We value your community, your commitment, and your passion for Hellgate and we will make sure that any solution that we architect will support all of you as best as we are able.
Thanks again. We hope to have a real announcement shortly.

Hellgate: London - the game itself, continues to live along. For how long, that’s anybody’s guess. But with salty responses like these, it looks as if Hellgate: London already has one foot in the grave.

This week we’ve been focusing on getting things in place to resolve the remaining crashes people may be experiencing. We’re hoping to see them all disappear over the next few weeks as we finish gathering data and put all the pieces into place. We’re also working fast and furious on fixes such as market issues. We believe we’ve taken care of all known market issues and any issues related to sending things via attachments. Please let us know if this is not the case. Next patch we expect to push up a significant balance update as well as have a host of other bugs and fixes. Please keep posting your reports, suggestions, and comments on the forums. We appreciate your patience and support! Read more
SAGA - Fantasy MMO-RTS now live

SAGA, the fantasy MMO-RTS has finally gone live after several months of open BETA testing. The MMO is free to play, but players must purchase booster packs to continue playing. In case you’re confused, here’s a snippet from the site regarding booster packs:
Being an online game, are their any subscription fees?
No. Saga has absolutely no sign-up or subscription fees. Instead, players are required to buy their troops in booster packs. These troops remain a player’s permanent property, but can be traded or upgraded, and gain experience and new weapons and armor over time. Additionally, they can be killed, making strategy and effective use of troops essential to game-play in Saga. Players are encouraged to customize their armies from over 100 different troop types to find the combination that works best for them.
