Get ready as EA will be throwing yet another Need for Speed (NFS) title on your plate. EA has officially announced Need for Speed: Undercover after they confirmed the development a while back. The title is being developed by EA’s Black Box studios, and features Maggie Q as the lead celebrity. Because we all know, you can’t make a good game without dragging 20 female celebrities into it. Valve’s Steam to get New Features, Dubbed Steam Cloud

At the recent press event, Valve has revealed plans to add lots of new and exciting features to Steam over the upcoming months. One of the most striking features is dubbed Steam Cloud; A feature that lets users access their save games/game generated data from anywhere using Steam.

All of the data will be transferred to Steam’s back-end once users connect to the service.

Steam Cloud will be rolled out first in existing Valve titles Half-Life and Half-Life 2. Counter-Strike will soon support the feature, and the upcoming Left4Dead will ship with it.

We know everyone is very excited about the next Frontlines update and we are doing our best to make sure it’s 100% ready before we release.

As you probably know, part of our testing process is looking at a patch for multiple territories and making sure that it installs correctly and that all features work. If a problem is discovered, the patch is sent back to development for fixes and then re-tested. We have run into some issues with the latest 1.1.0 patch, primarily related to the anti-cheat integration, which is requiring extra time to complete. We are close to having the last of the items resolved and wanted to give you an updated list of items being included in this patch:

Frontlines: Fuel of War v1.1.0 Patch Details

Kaos Studios has started internally testing the upcoming patch for Frontlines: Fuel of War. The new patch adds PunkBuster support as well.

I wanted to update everyone regarding the status of the 1.1.0 patch. Things have been going well and we have recently started testing internal builds for various territories. This is a significant patch with new features such as the integration of Punkbuster and the newly redesigned server browser so more extensive testing is required. Thanks for being patient and I will update you again next week with our progress.

The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar - Content Update

New Premium Items Make Debut On Silkroad Online

Joymax has announced new features for Silkroad Online players, available now in the item mall. The new selections include Premium Gold Time Plus, Fur Clothing (for a limited time), and a one-day Clock of Reincarnation for certain pets. The new Premium Gold Time Plus provides players the opportunity to earn additional experience points for five hours, along with many other perks such as increased attack and damage absorption. Fashionable fur hats and coats, affordable and cruelty-free, grant gamers an aura of affluence and warmth during chilly spring evenings.
