Telltale announces Sam & Max Season Two Collector’s DVD

Everyone’s favorite fuzzy detectives to get the special edition treatment!

Interactive entertainment pioneer Telltale, Inc. is announcing that the Collector’s DVD for the acclaimed game series Sam & Max Season Two is available for ordering today. Telltale has given the second season of “gaming’s first sitcom” the premium boxed-set treatment that has become common for television favorites, with behind-the-scenes extras and loads of special features. Telltale is also introducing new merchandise today to celebrate the release, including a signed commemorative print, a 2-CD Season Two soundtrack, and several special bundle offers. Read more

Far Cry 2 - Introduction trailer

Ubisoft Montreal has released a new trailer for their FPS Far Cry 2. The new trailer shows some in-game footage as well as commentary from the designers of the game. The trailer also features french subtitles for the commentary. The ending of the trailer suggests Ubisoft Montreal will reveal more information during their Ubidays 08 Press event.

Interesting thing to note: During the gameplay segments, the frame rate looks to be in teens.

Mirror’s Edge - Teaser Gameplay Trailer

DICE has released a teaser gameplay trailer for their upcoming first-person-shooter; Mirror’s Edge. The trailer is made up of entirely in-game footage and shows the game’s vivid visuals as well as incredibly life-like character movement.

Mirror’s Edge is DICE’s take on re-inventing the FPS genre, presenting a game that focuses more character interaction rather than action. Mirror’s Edge centers around Faith, a sexy runner who’s job is to deliver confidential information between various parties.
