According to Eurogamer.net, The earlier news about Infinity Ward re-taking the Call of Duty development throne was false. Infinity Ward and Tyranch will still create game installments alternatively.

A spokesperson for the publisher told Eurogamer it was a total fabrication, and that Treyarch and Infinity Ward would still alternately create instalments in the shooter series.
