Despite the inconsistent (probably the best way to phrase it) response Crysis received, it’s still a brilliant game - atleast on technical standards. But that’s that, what does the future hold for Crytek and their CryEngine game engines? Cevat Yerli sheds some light:
Yerli says “the future will start” for Crytek in 2009 when they begin to develop CryEngine 3, “but will only become visible in 2012.”
Alright, so CryEngine 3 will be so powerful that it’ll bring Apocalypse? On a much more serious note, let’s hope the algorithms of the engine are optimised better and it doesn’t become far too advanced for the future hardware it’s suppose to run on.

According to Cevat Yerli, Crysis took total of USD 22mil to make. The game, however, did suffer from extreme piracy and was the most pirated game in company’s project history (which only consist of FarCry and Crysis)
Yerli maintained the game was profitable, adding, “if it wasn’t profitable I wouldn’t be able to stand here.”

VideoGamer.com had a go with Cameron Suey of LucasArts. The main focus was LucasArt’s upcoming Star Wars: The Force Unleashed title, which amazingly, is coming to every other platform except PC. Ofcourse, one expects a decent explanation for that, but if you go by the interview, you’ll get the exact opposite impression. Undoubtly one of the most bullshit interviews you’ll ever come across.
