THEY, the oddly named first person shooter was first announced in Games Convention 2007. The game, being developed by Metropolis Software is set in the year 2012, gamers will take the role of a soldier in England, who works with his comrade, a pilot. Terrorism has become a major problem;
So apart from the generic storyline and awkward and SEO-unfriendly name, what does THEY offers? The game will boast an SP campaign spanning twelve hours, the game also comes with a weapons-tuning system (more info in the QnA) THEY will also support DirectX10 features. Will the main character fight alone, or will he receive reinforcements from time to time? If he will be accompanied, what he’ll have to do in the squad? Follow or maybe issue orders?
THEY is a first person shooter – not an always alone person shooter – expect here and there some story based events - but hey, it’s Mystery FPS! You’ll find out while playing the game and we don’t want to tell you all the fun upfront.
Cryptic Developing Star Trek: Online MMO?
According to TrekMovie.com, Cryptic Studios maybe developing the Star Trek MMO.
Although Cryptic will still not officially acknowledge they are the new license holder, TrekMovie.com has independently confirmed with sources that they definitely are.
TrekMovie.com does not cite it’s sources, so the credibility of their claims is still salty at this point. All this begun after a Star Trek MMO teaser site surfaced, leading many to believe the development has reached it’s final stages. Whatever happens, we’ll keep you posted!
