After all the community requests, Valve has finally given in and created a blog for Team Fortress 2.
Now that we’ve settled into regular releases of content, we’ve found ourselves wanting a better way to talk directly to the TF2 community about the state of the game and some of the reasoning behind the choices we’re making. Our hope is that this blog will accomplish that, and give everyone some better insight into our development process as well.
Our hope is that we’ll be providing you with a variety of interesting things to read, whether you’re a hardcore TF2 player or whether you’ve just started. We’ll be going into the details behind some of the gameplay, posting a bunch of the concept art we haven’t released before, and showcasing the great content the community is creating.

The fourth episode in the second season, called Chariot of Dogs of Sam and Max has been released on GameTap. It will be released as a separate title on Telltale’s website later today. According to the official site:
After an agonizing four week wait, Sam & Max 204: Chariots of the Dogs is up on GameTap, and will be here on Telltale’s site in one short day. Finally, you’ll get to find out what happened to Bosco! (Or will you…?)
We’ve been bursting with excitement over this episode and can’t wait to hear what everyone thinks. Reviews are already coming out, including an excellent (and spoiler-free) five star review over at Adventure Gamers. AG has only given out a handful of perfect scores in the history of the site, so this is enormously high praise and we’re just giddy over it.
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 Preview
CVG was allowed to get up close and personal with EA’s upcoming RTS Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 (sequel to 2000’s Red Alert 2) Red Alert 3 takes place in aparallel universe in which the Soviet Union still exists and World War III is ongoing between the Soviets, Allies and a third faction known as the Empire of the Rising Sun, which is derived from Imperial Japan. Interestingly, most of the original people behind Red Alert 2 have left EA to work on other projects. snippet from the preview:
Over the next couple of hours, I’m talked through the features of the game, shown concept art plastering numerous walls throughout the offices and given a personal demo of a Red Alert 3 Allied mission.
Full preview and 3 high resolution screenshots after the break. Read more
