Telltale announces Sam & Max Season Two Collector’s DVD

Interactive entertainment pioneer Telltale, Inc. is announcing that the Collector’s DVD for the acclaimed game series Sam & Max Season Two is available for ordering today. Telltale has given the second season of “gaming’s first sitcom” the premium boxed-set treatment that has become common for television favorites, with behind-the-scenes extras and loads of special features. The lovable furry detectives Sam & Max have invaded Steam!

Sam & Max: Season 2, the latest in Telltale’s flagship episodic series, is now available on Steam, a leading online platform for the distribution and management of PC games.

The complete Season 2 set is available for just $34.99, and the Season 1 and 2 complete sets are available in a collection for just $59.99.

To celebrate the launch of Season 2, all of Telltale’s Sam & Max episodes are available for 10% of their regular price during for the first week of Season 2’s availability on Steam.

Sam and Max: Season 2 - Episode 4 Now Available on GameTap

The fourth episode in the second season, called Chariot of Dogs of Sam and Max has been released on GameTap. It will be released as a separate title on Telltale’s website later today. According to the official site:

After an agonizing four week wait, Sam & Max 204: Chariots of the Dogs is up on GameTap, and will be here on Telltale’s site in one short day. Finally, you’ll get to find out what happened to Bosco! (Or will you…?)

We’ve been bursting with excitement over this episode and can’t wait to hear what everyone thinks. Reviews are already coming out, including an excellent (and spoiler-free) five star review over at Adventure Gamers. AG has only given out a handful of perfect scores in the history of the site, so this is enormously high praise and we’re just giddy over it.
