The journalist Andrei Luzgin arrives in the town of Posolsk to find his missing friend. On arrival, he observed that something strange was happening in the city: people were disappearing without a trace. Corpses with terrible injuries were being found everywhere.

Luzgin is involved in a journalist investigation, during which he learns a lot about the terrible details that involve this city, where secret research and scientific experiments are being conducted. A few years after these experiments, Posolsk step-by-step becomes quiet and empty. Read more

I Am Alive - Announced

Ubisoft played smarts with Assassin’s Creed, hype a title with a pretty face next to it and you’re sure to get attention even if the game itself was mediocre. Putting that aside, Ubisoft (or Jade Raymond) has announced their latest project; I Am Alive. Even though the title is NOT being developed by Ubisoft, it’s a project of Jade Raymond. Her involvement in the title is unknown at this point, though we’d reckon it’s limited to giving to 1,000 interviews and doing PR work. More details in E3 2008.

Set after an earthquake hits Chicago, I Am Alive is being labelled a “survival game”, with a few major differences from the typical “survival-horror” titles we’ve been seeing waves of recently. You won’t be trapped in the dark, beating up masses of scary things with great big weapons - instead, it’s more like a first-person adventure title, with a low emphasis on weapons.

Overclocked: A History of Violence Demo Released

House of Tales has released a playable demo for their adventure title; Overclocked: A History of Violence.

Overclocked, developed by House of Tales team, known for The Moment of Silence, is a psychological thriller which uses many technical innovations and a surprising narrative approach to form an eerily real gaming experience.

Alan Wake Coming This September?

ForeverGeek claims Remedy’s upcoming horror-adventure title is set for September 2008 release.

In case you haven’t heard, Alan Wake is a psychological action thriller from Remedy, the developer of successful titles including Max Payne and Max Payne 2.  The game is due for the Xbox 360 and PC - and has been re-confirmed once again for September 2008.
