Another update for the famous indie title; Audiosurf.
Audiosurf
- Players can now easily experiment with custom game modes by
combining special tags in song names. More info is available on the
forums
- [as-4lane] Play with 4 lanes
- [as-monoonly] Mono characters required
- [as-everybodymono] All characters have only 2 block colors
- [as-lessgrey] Mono characters have less grey blocks
- [as-allgrey] Mono characters have all grey blocks
- [as-nogrey] Mono characters have no grey blocks
- [as-monoptX] Base points for Mono characters (default 3)
- [as-nostlth] Remove Stealth and cumulative hit bonuses
- [as-swind] Sidewinder camera mode

Kaos Studios has released another patch for their shooter; Frontlines: Fuel of War. Release notes and download links below:
Release Notes:
- Players will no longer be kicked by PunkBuster for using the comma “,” or forward slash “/” character in their names in multiplayer matches.
- The binding for the Action key (E) has been fixed. This is also used for the Exit Vehicle function.
- Keys that have already been used will be checked for when changing control key bindings.
- The distance for melee attacks has been shortened.
- The “pipe” character will no longer hide text in the server information window.
- Chinese translation errors on the server browser have been fixed.
- The Frontline will show up properly on the map.
- Fixed first-person weapon animation blends between run and sprint.
- Added functionality to allow firing of a weapon to break sprint. Previously you had to come out of sprint and then left-click to fire.
- “Master server connection ID verification failed” error has been fixed.

Valve has released an update for their Steam client. This update adds lots of improvements and adds PtT (Push-to-Talk) function.
Steam Client
- Improved cache defragmenter to both defragment at the OS level and internal files
- Improved defrag progress dialog
- Improved download status reporting in games list
- Increased background update frequency
- Improved voice quality
- Added audio recording device selection for voice chat
- Added push-to-talk support for voice chat
- Fixed apps getting stuck at Updating 0% when downloading
- Fixed possible crash when resuming from Standby mode
- Fixed Steam preventing some PC’s from entering Standby mode
- Fixed overlay sometimes getting stuck up and not responding to hot-keys after server join
- Fixed uninstalled apps becoming installed when viewing their Properties page after Steam restart

Another update for GMod10.
Garry’s Mod
- Fixed crash when prop’s physics object couldn’t be created
- Fixed Team Fortress 2 blood overriding Half-Life 2 blood
- Fixed shotgun having wildly reduced damage
- Changed default jump height so you can jump on a crouched player
- Fixed not being able to override materials on clientside entities
- Fixed not seeing hunter blood in MP

Updates to Audiosurf have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:
Audiosurf
- Adds “Everybody Mono” mode (to be unlocked only in upcoming radio songs)
- Upgrades online CD track data searches to use XML

Codemasters have released a new patch for GRID. This patch is only for the retail version and is not compatible with Steam and Direct2Drive versions. Download links and Read-me below:

• When viewing in spectator mode – wheels should now turn correctly.
• Session searching now functions correctly when there are lots of full sessions (PC and PS3).

Valve has released a source engine update for Half Life: Episode 1. This particular update adds surround sound (5.1ch, 7.1ch) under Windows Vista for CS: Source, HL2: DM and Episode One. As always, it’s available from Steam.

- Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life 2: Episode 1, and Half-Life 2: Deathmatch customers running under Windows Vista can now take advantage of 5.1 and 7.1 speaker configurations

Valve’s Source SDK has gotten an update:
Enhancements
- Particle Editor, Material Editor, and Commentary Editor are now included in the Source SDK
- Updated SDK source code for Orange Box mods
- Added example particle system files to SDK content
Bug Fixes
- Updated Linux binaries and makefiles for dedicated servers and server plugins
- The Faceposer phoneme editor now pops up a warning message when a phoneme cannot be saved
- Fixed crash in ’splitskybox.exe’
- Day of Defeat: Source now appears in the list of Orange Box games

Flagship Studios will be releasing another patch for Hellgate: London. The patch will be available via game’s auto updater tomorrow in US/EU servers. Read me and info below:
Patch 1.3d introduces a few significant adjustments to gameplay, character creation, and one vendor NPC in particular. Players can now create Elite Mode characters (and subscribers can create Hardcore Mode characters) if their account has a character that reaches level 20 or above. The update also fixes a PRD bug and a character options issue.
