If you’re one of the 6 people that were actually dumb enough to go out and buy Games for Windows LIVE subscription, fear not, you can finally return the borrowed money as Microsoft is refunding the GFW LIVE subscriptions.
But that’s not all. To reward those gamers who have been with the service from the beginning, Microsoft will be giving refunds to gamers who have been subscribing to the Games for Windows Live service specifically. “Yes, there will be a benefit for customers who purchased gold subscriptions on Windows,” said Unangst. “Proactively, we will be offering refunds for those with Windows-specific Gold subscriptions. Customer service has already begun to get communications prepared.”

Square Enix is loving PCs, during an E3 2008 press conference, the producers have said to moved to PC developmental platform and the game, Final Fantasy XII, is being developed primarily for the PC platform. With the PS3/X360 ports following afterwards.
The content will be the same on all platforms,” said Kitase. “However, we have yet to determine how many discs will be required for the 360 version. We’ll have to consider the differences between formats. Currently the game is being built on PC, where it’s actually functional. We’re still focusing on making it work on PS3, so it’s difficult to know how long the process of taking it to 360 will take.”
Thanks to the new PC development platform, Kitase added, “Now that we’re developing on a PC base, the pace is going a bit faster,” Kitase said. “We haven’t introduced new footage of the game, but we should be able to show something new in the near future.

Probably the most unbelievable (not in literal terms) piece of gaming industry news you’ve heard. Ubisoft stole the Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 crack from the famed group RELOADED and allegedly released it as a No-CD fix for their D2D customers. Examining the .exe file revealed the “RELOADED” tag.
Bravo Ubisoft, you’ve outdone yourself in douchebaggery.
