Ubisoft Clancy Deal Estimated to be $92 million
Ubisoft recently acquired all the IP rights from Tom Clancy, the actual amount was not disclosed. However, according to the analyst firm Wedbush Morgan, Ubisoft bought the rights for estimated 60 million euros. ($92 million USD) According to the firm:
Wedbush Morgan estimates that the deal EUR 60 million deal will be paid over three years with potential earn-outs of up to approximately another EUR 15 million.
A big amount indeed. Hopefully, it will pay off in the long run.
