If you love open-world games like Mercenaries – The world in flames, and GTA series also you are a fan of post-apocalyptic games alike, Fallout 3 would give you the right material to pamper your gaming desires, here are few factors which definitely would give you the bang for your buck.

Gripping storyline: You grow up in this game from an infant stage amidst nuclear war ravaged earth, which now has a crumbled ecology, zombie turned human beings, de-formed animals however as most post-apocalyptic movies show human race bouncing back, you too would be a part of this re-evolution exercise.

Improved animated action: You would be treated to some slick slow motion death animation, what Max Payne did with bullet time, bringing alive matrix action in games, so would fallout 3 offer you eye candy death animation, you cannot term it gore completely however you may like watching heads burst like balloons filled with red liquid, déjà vu, frank miller’s 300 movie’s stylish action, keep that coming.

Level Designs: Level design for this game raises the bar further towards an effort to offer closer to reality game play environment to the gamer, which is essential to maintain your interest while you experience being a part of the storyline and associating yourself to the surroundings and environment within the game, you can have a look at screenshots posts for this game, you will realize for yourself what I am referring to, though such visual brilliance would take the juice out of your system, so be prepared.

Improved AI and interactivity: Your weapons would need repairs after prolonged usage and you just cannot move around, pick another gun and start firing the boom-bang crackers, if you happen to pick up even a loaded weapon but worn out, you would have to fix them with gun parts and metals, also another welcome change that comes with the game is non-existence of auto-refill of your health system, the time you take to heal when you get hit, would depend on which part of the body you have taken damage, seems practical isn’t it?

You would not just change your armor and weapons like an upgrade at each level, however a high radioactive zone would demand a better armor and repairing weapons wearing a heavy armor to fix your weapon would slow you down and make a you a sitting duck easy to hunt, so you would have to put on your thinking hats while playing this game.

Gunning down enemies with mindless AI seems boring after some time, however Fallout 3 aims to change the rules here as well by offering a better enemy AI and also your in game interaction with other characters would mould the story ahead and not just a single track storyline, it claims to offer 300 different endings based on how you play the game.

Fallout 3 is one the most anticipated games this fall season, so ensure you do not miss out this title, exciting enough after Crysis lit the fire back on the PC gaming front.
